Registered Veterinary Technician
Our ideal RVT is a dependable team player who brings confidence, compassion, and a willingness to help wherever needed. We are looking for someone who can mentor others, communicate well, and contribute to a positive clinic culture while practicing Common Sense Veterinary Medicine.

Veterinary & Veterinary Technician Student Externships
We welcome DVM and RVT students to learn alongside our team in a supportive, hands-on environment. Externships are available year-round for 2–8 weeks, with complimentary housing provided for visiting students. Gain experience in small animal medicine while working with multiple veterinarians, each bringing their own approach and expertise. Students have the opportunity to observe and participate in diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation, and advanced medical procedures while utilizing modern equipment and technology. With three unique practice locations near Indianapolis, students are exposed to a wide variety of cases, clients, and approaches to veterinary medicine. We are looking for students who are trustworthy, driven, compassionate, professional, and eager to learn.

High School Career Internships & Job Shadowing
We enjoy helping the next generation explore careers in veterinary medicine! St. Francis Pet Hospital partners with local schools and career programs to provide students with opportunities to learn about the veterinary field through job shadowing and hands-on experiences. Students will gain insight into daily practice life, animal care, and the many career paths available in veterinary medicine.
